Welcome to the Summer School Program portal of Institute of Business Administration (IBA-Karachi). The courses, in this program, range from personal grooming to self-actualization, from individual finesse to team leadership, and from innovative brainstorming to challenging the ideas on the litmus test of experience.

Leadership is an evolutionary phenomenon and earlier, it is nurtured, better it would be. Although charisma of a leader is one of the attributes; however, group leadership is of vital importance. For group leadership, behavioral transformation juxtaposing the situation without compromising the value system is the key. Infusion of individual charismatic energies into a group requires understanding of team dynamics and skills, how to harmonize the group potential into a high performance symphony. Summer School Program is meant to sharpen the leadership qualities of future leaders.

My Dear Promising Leader!

Keeping in view above, we are pleased to announce the IBA's Summer School Program. This program will help you meet these demands and prepare you to take the future challenges, it is important for you to learn leadership and other crucial skills for acquiring mastery. Skills such as communication, building relationships, teamwork, public speaking, planning and taking initiatives will benefit you in becoming more proactive in the world around you. Thence, you could lead in your educational institution, work place and community.

During the program, you will learn how to:

- get acquainted with new people;
- organize ideas with mind mapping;
- build attributes leaders should have;
- make and perform in team;
- stand out in the crowd;
- make decisions with consensus despite wide diversity in thoughts and perceptions of a group;
- gain leadership confidence and infuse it into a team for building trust by adhering to an agreed action for achieving the desired results; and
- acknowledge and value ideas without deviating from main focus to advance team performance.

While reflecting upon your decision to join the program let me quote Confucius, what he said,
